I rescued a 3 month old kitten a few weeks ago that I named Chico.  He is adorable and so loving.  I bought a bag of Purina Kitten Chow for him.  He likes it, but I don't know if he loves it.  When he was a stray, teenagers were throwing dog food out for him, so I guess anything would be an improvement over that.

Now let's talk ingredients.  The first five ingredients are chicken by-product-meal, corn gluten, Brewers rice, soy flour, and animal fat preserved with some type of chemical that I cannot spell.
These ingredients could be better.  I do not like chicken by-product-meal or corn in my four legged family member's food.

Purina may not be as great of a brand as Wellness or Blue Buffalo, but it is more affordable.   A 3.15 pound bag costs about $6.49 at PetSmart.  It is pretty healthy for a growing kitten and I would recommend it for anyone that is on a budget.  Make sure to supplement their diet if you feed this to them with real chicken or tuna: just give them tiny pieces.  I used to feed stray kittens chicken and tuna or sardines because I could not afford kitten food at the time, and they seemed pretty healthy.
